Bio: Amelia Pisapia is a New York-based media and marketing consultant interested in writing, visuals and new ways to fund the two.
Prior to starting her own consultancy, Amelia co-founded and served as editorial director of Novel, a creative agency with an editorial mindset incubated by the New Republic. She also formerly served as head of editorial for content marketing platform NewsCred, where she advised clients on content marketing strategy, helped build and launch a network of freelance writers and oversaw a team of editors. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Project: Editors Over Algorithms is a consulting service that uses the editorial and ethical frameworks of journalism to investigate algorithms so that companies can create more inclusive technology.
